How to Install Nordic Dry?

Check the general condition of the container. Close the doors from inside. If  you are able to see any light, there maybe a problem with the container and and you should consider rejecting the container. Where possible, do not allow Nordic Dry to be in direct contact with the cargo.

Nordic Dry products are completely safe for use with your cargoes. Nordic Dry fights moisture and condensation by absorbing water vapor from the air and preventing the humidity level inside containers from reaching the dew point.

At Nordic Dry we take a hands-on approach to cargo protection. We routinely attend container loadings and unloadings to make sure our customers needs are being met. It’s important to us that our high quality products are also user friendly and easy to install. We take great pride in being an active participant in your business.

Nordic Dry has strategic partnerships with manufacturers around the world. This allows us to develop a cargo protection solution to meet your specific needs. If you require a custom product for intermodal containers, or are experiencing costly damage to your shipments, we can help.

The desiccant turns into a gel as it absorbs moisture and the water absorbed is retained due to the presence of special binding agent that stops the desiccant from leaking. Relative humidity is a measurement of the amount of moisture in the air and it is expressed as a percentage of how much moisture the air contains. The wetter or damper the air is the higher the relative humidity and the drier the air feels, the lower the relative humidity.

Effective solutions

100% humidity would be expressed as rain. Some of the most common problems in container shipping are caused by moisture in containers, such as mold, fungus, mildew, rust decay, lumping, caking, agglomeration, and decomposition.

Nordic Dry makes every effort to provide desiccants that are easy to use, effective, innovative, safe, and economical. All this is done as a part of Nordic Dry’s ongoing commitment to protecting valuable containerized cargo transported by land, sea, and air.
